Vibrant Pine Cones

Who doesn't love the look of natural things??? I know they're one of my favorite things to decorate with. Pine cones are one of my favs- they're so pokey and textured and just have great shapes and lines. I love them. A super easy, super cheap way to bring the outside in- and give it a punch of color.

All you need for this is some pine cones and some spray paint. First give the cones a bath, just to get rid of any dirt or needles. Just fill up the sink and swish them around a bit, then let them air dry. Bring them outside, lay the pine cones out on a sheet or newspaper (or anything that you don't mind ruining),

...and paint 'em. I used white and a bright Bahama Breeze blue (same color I used on my old lamp redo).

Let them dry, stuff them into something, like a basket or a glass hurricane vase, perhaps, and there you go: quick, wallet-friendly decor that can fit into any design scheme. Try it!!!

This is actually really cute! I feel like I always see your blog titles and read your idea and Im a little "iffy" about your plan. But you always amaze me. They always turn out great!
