Finally!  Some pictures of my wreath that are... viewable!



So as far as a tutorial goes, it's super easy.  No pictures of the process, but you really don't need them. Here's what to do:

Spray paint a grapevine wreath white. Let it dry, and roughly brush on some plain old black paint. Doesn't need to look nice. Let that dry, and spray paint again in quick little shots to mostly cover the black, but not completely.

For the bats, I used this diagram by Nick Robinson (http://www.nickrobinson.info/origami/diagrams/bat.htm), and made a bunch of bats from 3", 2" and 1" black construction paper. Glue them to the wreath with a hot glue gun. Grab some ribbon or fabric, wrap it around the top of the wreath, tie it, and hang it! Super easy!

I used some scrap pieces of black and white fabric, knotted them together, and hung the wreath from it. I love this wreath!!!

Hi! Long time no blog! So my first post back, for once, ISN'T a tutorial. :::shock::: :::horror::: :::dismay:::.  Just kidding! :) Well, just kidding about the horror part. Since my regular camera is on the fritz, I've had to make do with the camera on my phone. Let's just say, it's not living up to my standards. So while I try to retake some pictures, I figured I would show you our recent little outing to a hot air balloon festival.  And again, I apologize for the picture quality.  I'm working on that.


I swear, I cannot manage to take more than one picture a year where all three girls are looking at the camera at the same time. :)




That balloon towards the top with the pointy things was a goblin face. Keira, my youngest, thought it was watching her. Hee :)




I just realized that this is probably the first time I've posted a picture of my hubby...





I can't wait to go again next fall. It was so much fun. I highly recommend it! :)
