I hope you like origami, because here's another tutorial!  These hearts are very, very similar to folding lucky stars. 

 I used plain white printer paper for this, cut into 1/2" by 11" strips.

Start the same way, by tying a 'knot' on one side of your strip of paper.  At step three, fold down the edge.  Continue folding normally, and folding over the excess, like in steps six and seven.


When the paper is all folded and tucked in, instead of pressing in all five sides like for the stars, just press in the longest side. Done!

For a garland, I folded a bunch of white, pink, and red hearts, took needle and thread, and threaded them all together.
